A Hands-On History of Writing, from Clay to Biro
Come and learn all about the history of how we write things down – from clay tablets and slates to quills and the modern biro – with local author and artist Sarah Hitchcock. Have a go at making your very own writing tablet and grapple with a real quill and scroll.
Ideal for ages 7+(ish).
Only children need to book, but must be accompanied by an adult.
