18TH CENTURY BOTANICAL Collage

Helianthus Annuus by Mary Delany

Step into the colourful world of Mary Delany, an 18th-century artist who used tiny pieces of coloured paper to create stunning flowers so realistic that even her friends thought they were real. Now it’s your turn! Join us for a fun and hands-on collaging activity where families can cut, stick, and create their own paper blooms, just like Mary did over 200 years ago, while discovering a little more about Mary’s fascinating life, her love of nature, and how she turned everyday paper into a masterpiece.
